In their weekly Diversity class, fifth graders recently brainstormed a list of words based on the “THINK” poster that students walk by every day.
Before you speak THINK

H: is it HELPFUL
I: is it INSPIRING
N: is it NECESSARY
K: is it KIND
They each reflected on a word of choice and combined it with empowering, inclusive words from the class brainstorming session to create a unique acrostic poem. The results speak for themselves; they are well on their way to becoming solid global citizens.
