One of our favorite traditions is Grandparents & Special Friends Day, a chance for students to show off their school to some very important guests. On Friday, October 19, we welcomed over 250 of our favorites guests to Pennfield.
Grandparents and other invited friends had the opportunity to spend some class time with their students, playing games, creating family trees, interviewing each other, and even painting in our art studio.
The morning culminated with a Beatles inspired, schoolwide concert showcasing the students musical talents. As always, the students played and sang beautifully. Thank you to our Band and Chorus Directors, Mr. Lee and Ms. (Kat) Fortier for helping our students shine, and thank you to all who participated in this wonderful tradition.
